Alright, so if you don't know what I'm referring to, on a stock 04-08 Grand Prix intake, the air box has a second hose that leads out of it on some cars for emissions. I don't live in Cali though, I live in PA, and I feel like that hose is just worthless. Is there a way to delete that... system? Or just deal with it? I'm going to put on a cone in a few days when it finally stops raining, and if I can't get rid of that hose I'll just get a miniature cone for the hose as I don't feel like coupling it with the intake.
 


You would want to delete the DTC codes for it in the pcm before deleting it. That way you won't set a light. Otherwise..yeah, pretty useless IMO.
 
uhm my car is cali emissions anything on the gxp's that they added extra? i know of bumper reinforcement but thats about it
