First of all, I always wear my seat belt so i am not one of those guys who doesn't believe in safety. However, out of the blue my seatbelt light and ringing stays on and I can't find the wire where its connected to the seatbelt holder. I found two THICK black wires running down from the side of the console which I believe it from the seatbelt holder but really two wires? Anyways, does anyone know where to find the wires? Do I cut them? If you suggest I should take the seat out then how do I do that? I have leather powerseats. Thank you.

Put the seat all the way forward, get in the back seat and you will find a two wire connector, just unplug it. Mine started acting up too, unplugged it and all is well.

What color are they cause I found a connector that is Yellow with two tiny wires, then there are wires on the right and then two THICK black wires (2nd picture) next to the console but im not sure if those are connected for the heated seats.

I can't remember the color. They aren't the thick ones. They are small, probably 14 or 16 gauge. The way I tracked it down was to reach and grab the base of the seat belt buckle, find the wire, then follow it back to the connector.

You must have the smallest hands in the world cause i can't even fit my hand in there and yet im skinny! is it deep under the seat?

its the only black pair of wires that goes up towards the belt lock. and im pretty sure it has a stand alone plug there on the seat cross frame. where the other plugs are, heated seats, air bag, seat power. air bag plug is the yellow one, LEAVE IT ALONE.

Okay, so after several attempts and avoiding the thick wires and yellow ones lol. i found two small black wires, not sure if they are it. I have tried tracing wires from the seat belt base but i don't feel any wires but the base cover attached to a metal rod. I can't fit my hand between the seat and console. Do I have to remove the base cover of the receiver? remove the center console? you guys make it sound super easy and its not my first rodeo when it comes to wiring.

Thanks

ok if your having that much trouble, take the whole seat out, and then un bolt the seat belt buckle part from the seat, after that you have to see the wire.
