seat belt swap

I jost got some 05 leather seats fro my 1997 grand prix and I see every on talking about how I will have to swap the seat belt connector, well since I already have the car apart because I am replacing headliner any reason why I just can't throw in a whole seat belt assembly from and 04 that I seen in the junk yard and keep the connector that's on there? (I like the look better)
 


The car has not a mark on it looks even under the hood looks good I am not sure why it is in the yard someone took the engine already and the front seats and headliner are gone so I figure it could not have caught fire
 
I didn't swap mine, they were a little difficult at first but have settled in and found there happy spot. LOL
