sealing snout to case



^Yup.

I have always had great luck with the Permetex Ultra Gray RTV gasket maker. Trick is to use a small, small thin bead of it since the snout and case are zero tolerance.

The stuff I use now is much like the anaerobic sealer listed above, but its from Detroit Diesel. A whole hell of a lot better by far. That's what I am currently using now.

Snout bolts go on evenly and torqued to 22 ft. lbs.

GenV's you use the sealer on the two center bottom bolts threads as well. :th_thumbsup-wink:
