Yeah so I was using the magic erasers that Scotty recomended on my 99 gtp seats and the leather started to rub off my seats .....Ok so it wasent leather but instead dirt...:th_nanana:..It made such a big difference that at the end of the cleaning the seats were a different color...and the erasers were the dirtiest brown i have ever seen....finished up with some meguires leather paste stuff and they were good to go....Worked awesome!!! Thanks for the suggestion Scotty!!

Recomend them to anyone looking for some leather care...By the way i used the glass cleaner cleaning method that he recomended

LOL- Can't wait to see what Scotty thinks....If he doesent die from a heart attack he will probably be like....o crap i gotta pm every body that i recomended this too and warn them before it's to late :p

Any way...let us know how it turns out for you...I have never seen or heard of the erasers before Scotty mentioned them to me and i just happen to see them in wal-mart the other day...so i said what the heck i will give it a shot

You did indeed scare the friggin crap out of me you hoochie. Where's that ban button at?

Mine did this as well the first time I used them. Probably just years of build up. However, WillOverkill came up with a better cleaning solution than the glass cleaner. He uses a spray bottle with water and Johnsons Baby Shampoo, which should be a better thing to use than the glass cleaner.

But since you followed up with a leather treatment, you should be good to go. The mink oil I use seems to do really well at keeping everything nice and supple. I dont clean my seats every time I detail the car either. Maybe twice, three times a year at most. And by the way, the magic erasers work just as well at cleaning the rest of the interior as well. The plastic trim pieces and so forth.

you say baby shampoo....What about murphys oil soap...you know the stuff that they clean leather boots with and sadles for horses ect...it's in the same spot as the magic erasers. i may have to try that
