SC'd N/A Series II?

I read somewhere that the series III GTP's make 260 hp due to the genV m90 and better heads, combined with a 5% increase in hp from the higher compression of a N/A 3800, would it be possible to make a 273 hp series II 3800 by swapping the heads, LIM, and SC before any aftermarket products are involved?

No. The motors pretty much make the same power regardless of what gm says.

Nobody really measures power at the crank either. Factor in all the drivetrain loss and it's still only a 200-215hp to the tire car.

if you plan to top swap buy a tuner, cause your gonna need it. if i had the money at the time id have held out for another l67 bottom end over using the l36 bottom end i got now. it runs fine and has balls with all the bolt on's i got, but i think with the l67 and lower compression it can take more timing and would feel better over all power wise.
