S2IC hood clearance ...Cradle spacer...WTF!?

I got a new S2IC set up off the forum instead of a cam for a few reasons...But now a buddy of mines claims I need a cradle spacer because the Intercooler gonna rasie the S/C too much...I've read differently. I know he can be extremely over-analytically and quite a bit. ZZP says you do need one for 2004's and newer but not for 97-03's...I pretty sure I'd don't need a spacer but I'd thought I'd get some other thoughts from others.

Terrell you have a stock hood. You won't have any issues. You only have issues with SD or F1 hoods.

you might need to take the liner off the inside of the hood but otherwise you will have no issues
