S/C seized up, rebuilding snout, need advice

So I had a previous post about the car dying and troubleshooting everything while having no luck. Turns out the S/C was seized up.
The pulley wouldn't turn at all, when I took off the snout it now spins freely and the gear inside of it now will turn a little bit too.
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue or knows if the problem is going to be internal and not in the snout?

I purchased the Eaton rebuild kit for the snout.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the rotor pack is ****ed then, bearing went out in that. Rotor pack should spin freely and not bind up.

Time to search for another supercharger if you ask me.

With the snout disconnect.

If the pulley on snout won't turn you can rebuild.

If the rotor pack won't turn purchase a used blower and put rebuild parts into it.

Rotor pack bearing are difficult to rebuild and the timing of the gears is very hard to get right. I've never seen a how to or heard of anyone claiming great success in rebuilding the rotor pack.

I don't know if you know, you can take off the S/C serpentine belt and run the car like that until you get it repaired. Just a suggestion, if you didn't know.

So after doing a little research and reading the replies here I returned the Eaton snout rebuild kit already.
Thanks for the replies, luckily I'm fortune it enough to have another vehicle to drive.

So the next question, is the Gen V supercharger direct bolt on? No modifications necessary?

Final question, any place to recommend purchasing one or anyone have one for sale around the forum? I'd rather buy off here then a used one off Ebay.

Need adapter for the L67 throttle Body to work. And you need some longer bolts. You don't have to change lower intake but you should change gaskets If they are The black OEM ones.

The adapter I sell has fitting for PCV proper operation. Otherwise you have to drill and tap a fitting into L67 throttle body for it to work correct with zzp adapter.
