s/c build or dump for turbo?

ok so heres thing....i have a 2000 gtp daytona500. current mods are zzp fullsize intercooler, ported s/c(but needs rebuilt idk if its snout or rotor pack) &lim, modded 1.9 rockers with ls7 springs, 3.1 pulley, s/d headers, cai, and self tuned. Its currently runing about a 8.8 in the 1/8 with a passenger and subs on street radials (1/8 mile is the track that i race the most its jus right down the road.. never been to a 1/4) my trans is bad and im doing a rebuild kit from triple edge and gunna have them do the valve body also with zzp torque converter(unsure of the stall size). But pretty much the goal is to drop a full second off and i wanna see around a 7.7 but also be able to drive it to the track or around some on the weekend or w/e...

SOO heres the big question is a z3 turbokit from zzp with a air to air intercooler and e85 the way to do it and just sell off all my other stuff? And how well will a turbo do on an 1/8mile track wit boost lag n all?(i know nothing about turbo gtp's so i dnt know how they drive, spool time or anything like that)OR should i spend that money on doin a full s/c build with stage 3 heads, e85, xp or xpz cam, larger throttle body and all that?

I dont plan on doin much if anything after this so i guess whats gunna be the fastest for the price and keep it around to enjoy for a lil while? all helps greatly apprecaited..thanks guys

I guess I'll be the first one to chime in on this. Gain HP per $$ go turbo every day. SC build typically max out around 400whp and that with about doing every trick in the book to get there. With E85 and even with a smaller turbo you'll be able to hit 400whp all day long.

My vote will be go turbo. The amount of money that you'll have just in the cam, heads, and TB you'll be able to make more power for less money (prices may vary)
