well i'll be a monkeys uncle!! i was jus about to post a new thread on this exact subject!!! i have the same question, mine is jus showing servre rust on the inside of the trunk and a crack underneath the wheel well. i went to a body shop and he said he cant do nothing, so he refered me to a welder,and he said he cant fix it! my next option was to buy another gp and do an engine swap, any advice would help tons
i did find a body shop that said it could be fixed, and said it would cost $500. not sure if that high or reaonable, but i can only imagine how many hours of labor it would take to do both sides
I agree with the labor part. But the only parts involved is a peiece of sheet metal. I'm going to see if I can find out how long this job may take. based off of ur $60 hour rate I still think ur right about the price
I'm not up to speed on metal thickness, so were does 14 or 16 gauge steel stand in the thickness category
