2000 Grand Prix GT 3800
I would like to replace a leaking steering rack and possibly a stripped 4th clutch hub in the transmission. I cannot support the car from behind the front wheels because it is too rusty and the pinch weld on the drivers side is crushed already from where a previous owner tried to jack up the car.
Has anyone run into this problem and what did you end up doing to support the car while lowering the subframe to get the rack out?
