I had just purchased a 96 grand prix, when I start to go at about 20 mph its starts a noise like a bad tread (really loud) and goes on a little louder and faster as I go faster, by the way the tires are brand new ,l looked at them too, seem to be straight, no tears, when I jurk the wheel ,it softens a little and then comes right back, it vibrates the dash , could it be in the tranny? I added a wheel bearring on the right side, it feels like it coming from thats side,I did look on the drivers side all seem ok , this really sucks, I think my car is angry, should I add a new bearring on the drivers side too? your opinions is greatly apreciated!:th_sick2:
 


Very well could be a CV axle... Jack the car up, and yank on each one/try and rotate them...there shouldnt be any play in them. Also, inspect the rubber CV boots for any tears/leaks or grease flung around the area..
