Because the city regularly clears the roads with nothing more than a Zamboni, and isn't arsed to clear the alleyways, huge icy ruts are formed inevitably; while navigating one of these ruts a few minutes ago, I was bounced sideways... and into the side of a large rubbish bin! Knocked the bin over to be sure, and when I was quickly examining my mirror from the inside, I saw the one thing I didn't want to: daylight! A hole almost the width of the mirror cover has just been punched into it! Sigh. I'll have to make a trip to the boneyard again to get a part I need, rather than one I want. Hope they still have good 'uns in Galaxy Silver...
