OK. after doing some searching and reading and more reading i believe my TCC lockup solonoid is to blame for my RPM surge on the highway.
My question is....how much is to much,(subjective i know) and how long can i expect the tranny to last?
The surge is worse when the cruise is set and its only jumping up about 250rpm (about 1700 to 2000). i know it should unlock when going up a long hill but this is doing it at random times. the only time it dosen't do it is when going down hill, go figure.
i haven't had the car for very long and am going to see the dealer i bought it from tomorrow but i'm not expecting much help so, any input you all have would be greatly appreciated.
