RPM fluctuation due to subs?

just cause youre running more doesnt mean youre using more than him, he could be on 400 watts making more power than your 900, all depends how its wired, either way youll never see full power out of an amp.
 


Your subs are wired wrong, I had that problem for like 2 years, I just thought it was a weak battery or alt. pop your speakers out and make sure there wired for the correct ome (I don't think that's spelled correct), it was also causing my amp to over heat when I would crank it up.

it doesnt mean its wired wrong, its either wired too low for the amp or youre trying to use too much power without feeding it enough power, i sold my buddy my first amps, 250rms ea, they ran fine in my car, but over heated and popped fuses alot till he added a capacitor, as for yours, you could have done the same, most amps are 1 ohm stable, or 2 ohms stable, anything less and they work harder and overheat causing major damage, now competition amps, such as sundown, dc, fi , hifonics, american bass ect, says theyre 1 ohm stable but some can take as low as .25 ohms, my hifonics was only 1 ohm stable but played at .5 aslong you have good electrical
 
im laughing hard currently. only way my rpm; bounce is on a low note due to vibration. 3k in my daily no issues except maybe a loosing a volt on long notes. but like bill said big 3 is a must and checking power and ground connections will help. Clean the off, sand to bare metal. every little bit helps.
 
he didnt say his rpm bounced, he said it drops due to lack of power/bad grounds, my spedometer bounced on high notes, my rpm dipped from the alternator making a huge electrical field, hence, slowing down the motor 200rpm, but i was in a 4 cyl car, not a 6.
 


im in a V8 car, no issue there. Biggest issue I have is the compass getting out of wack. But then again there are 2 15's facing it.
