• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Rough start-up

When I start the car the initial start-up is very rough. It starts instantly, like always, but almost immediately drops down to 500-600 RPM and sounds like it's starved for fuel for just a second or two. If I touch the gas while this is happening, it immediately revs and smooths out, then settles down where it should (~800-1000 depending on temp). When at normal idle, my IAC counts are 90-100. I know that I can adjust the start-up correction tables, but I don't know exactly what and by how much to change. The major mods are in my sig.

No obvious vac leaks to be found... I do have a slight exhaust leak at my #1 at the manifold gasket.

When I went to leave from lunch today, I had to crank it for a second or so before it would fire off. It smelled strongly of fuel after I got it started. Maybe my start-up is too rich? That's never happened before.

mine does the same exact thing, only this is, when i start it up in the morning it never gives me a problem, only when im going store to store etc. If you find out what it is let me know

It still does it every once-in-a-while. Mostly when it's cold out and the engine is cool but not completely cold yet.

mines the opposite, when its 10 degrees out it starts right up, but after running it for a while and than shutting it off and than on, it'll sound like its not getting enough gas.
