tried search but could not come up with anything?....

where do i find rotors? i need to purchase more due to mine not having any coating left!!

are you sure the dont have any coating? what do they look like?

junk yard or on the forums is cheapest. morad woudl probably be my next step.

I belive you can buy some new from zzp (comes from gm) and there about like a 800 bucks.

the coating is grey...? if you wipe your finger on it, what do you see? is it bare metal or is it grey?

the black is just carbon buildup.

oh go me....now i look stupid...there is grey coating on a good 90%...the ends of the rotors and some of the edges are bare metal but not much...

just extend the triangle down so that the squared off area is no longer there. dont make the triangle any bigger, just follow the angle already there to the bottom. for the inlet just use a flapper wheel to smooth it out.

why dont you want to make the "v" bigger?i would think that getting the outlet bigger would increase flow? am i wrong in my theroy? please explain great guru! and have you ran that aluminum epoxy in your silencers yet bio?

the v is shaped according to the rotors. if you change the angle on the v, it wont work as well as it does.

nope, havent ran the epoxy one yet. still sitting on the shelf waiting for me to get some initiative.

well get on it!!!! geeeezzzz haha

is that what you recomend? and just a flapper to smooth it out top and bottom? and ploishing the inside?

btw i really appriciate your help bio

do not touch the inside where the rotors go. do the inlet with a flapper wheel. do the outlet with a dremel.

you may want to fill in the EGR hole and the indentation in the hump to smooth out intake flow.

inlet you mean TB side right? and fill the egr and hump with the aluminum epoxy? i want to fill the silencing slots as well...how do i make sure its smooth on the inside? and you wouldnt happen to have pics of the filled hump would you?

as far as making it smooth on the inside, i didnt even go to the inside. if i took a picture of my blower there is a small air gap that is going to be produced between my rotors and the case. i didnt push it all the way through for the same fear of not being able to have smooth rotor movement.

for the LIM, some argue that the rear head runs hotter and that you need to slightly modify your LIM in order to compensate. i have had my LIM modified and not and couldnt tell a difference on the dash temp gauge, so i dunno about the validity of it.

you wouldnt happen to have pics of that hump filled in would you?...and could i plug the coolant holes in the charger to block it from there and the TB?

if you plug the coolant holes in the blower case youre going to want to plug them on the LIM too so you dont get a leak between the two. i only sealed off the holes on my LIM.

i will try to take a picture tonight.

i am just sick of coolant leaking everywhere and heating up the parts ect. the less coolant up there the better! right? and thanks for the pic
