Roof rails..

Ok guys, going to put the roof rails on today.. My question is this... what's the best way to remove the factory strip in the channel, and js there 3m adhesive holding it down..

Ok , put the rails on and wow!! What a difference they make.. I like the black rails on white. What say you guys?

I've always liked the black rails on a white car. Looks good and goes well with the rest of the black trim on the car.
