so i will share this info in hope of saving some ppl a BIG headache like i had!! well my and my buddy yesterday decided it was the day to do the rockers so we started on the front they were as easy as pie pretty much!! then when we went to do the rear we discovered that the whole water pump assembly should have to be removed to as the alternator brackets overhangs the valve cover 
and you cannot remove it !! so i had to make a choice rip it apart and drain the system OR hack saw a chunk of the bracket off OR put the front back to stock !! 
what do u think i did?? so we decided that the alternator already has enough support from 2 bolts why does it need 3... so i hacked off the overhang and the valve cover popped right out :th_laugh-pointup: after that we were laughing!! SO if u plan on rockers on an L32 be prepared for this type of BS !!
