Can you run 1.9 rockers on stock gt valve train?
If i do can i run yellow beehives with stock retainers and seats?
doesnt that increase the lift to a .490?
if im correct i think the stock lift is .413?
 


You need the ls style retainers to run the ls6 springs. I would run the G8 springs, I forget the engine code. They are better.
 
Yes, I would. Many have ran stock springs, but since you have them put them on. I would not run 1.9s on stock springs.
 
G8 springs = L76

Anything that has a higher ratio than 1.84 I would upgrade springs...anything higher than that is asking for valve float and trouble. You also won't gain the full potential out of your rocker setup until you get it tuned. I had 1.84's and they were alright...but it left me wanting a lot more. I sold them for an XP cam setup. I also ran LS6 (#90 yellow) springs/retainers on the XP...and my timing chain dampner was chewed up after about 40K miles...so also something to keep in mind. If you don't plan on running up the shift points past 5800 or going higher than a 1.84 ratio rocker...than stock springs are fine.
