Rocker Panel Rusting Out... Suggestions?

As we all know the 97-03 GP's have a habit of the rockers rusting out bad. I have fixed mine every year and truth be told, it's getting on my nerves haha Have any of you guys had this problem and done something specific to fix the problem that at least lasts longer than a year?? Help me out guys, I'm going nutts!:th_laugh-lol3:
 


I grind down all the rust, prep it with Rust preventative, primer, sand, primer, sand, paint, clear coat. I don't know how else to fix it. I don't use underbody coating or anything like that... unless.. is that stuff paintable without messing up the color matching??
 
if the grinded ALL the rust off the rocker you would have no rocker. Acid wash it, get some kbs coating and follow instructions. Regular car/hardware store paint wont do ****.
 


what primer are you using? and put fiberglass filler over the panel after you grind it because it waterproof's it
