Rocker Panel Access

I'm not seeing any access ports to the insides of the rocker panels on my 01 SE. I'm guessing if I want to rust proof I'll have to drill holes? Any recommendations on the best spots? It seems like everywhere else on the car can be decently easily accessed besides this one crucial area.

They are fully welded from the factory, they rust becuase the side skirts hold snow and salt that will start to rust on chips in the paint.

If you want to fully protect them I would remove the skirts and bed liner or something similar to the rocker covers and pinch welds so nothing can get on them.

Mine is the SE so I don't have any of the side moulding that the other trims have. But I have seen tons of SE's and Buick Century's just rotted away. I have seen some on here say it rusts internally as well. I have seen some people say to spray the insides with oil, but it looks like the only access is a custom hole.

Alright I recently had my car rust proofed with the Corrosion Free. It was about the same price and supposedly it lasts longer, that's why I chose it.

Anyways, so I found out that there are access points to the insides of the rocker panels. I'm sure at this point no one cares since I highly doubt there are any more solid GPs left lol. But if you pull the inside plastic trim from around the bottoms of the door frame, there are what look to be adhesive tar pads spaced evenly throughout. You can just poke your finger through it and get to the internals of the rockers. I had them spray inside. From what I could see, there's no rust!! Hopefully I can keep it that way.

Also I think I know why they rust out. Inside the rocker panels at each end there seems to be some kind of foam material in the exact spots where I see most GPs/Centuries have the worst rust. I'm guessing sound deadening materials. My guess is that this traps condensation and causes rust over time. Mine does not have the sunroof and it seems even the ones without it rust out super bad.
