resinator questions and sound deadner

i have speed daddy headers with no resinator or converer. i am running super 44 flowmasters. i installed a 24" glaspack for a resinator but it took away the tone of the mufflers and just gives me a annoying burrrrrr noise while driving. with no resinator it rasp very bad and it too loud. i am looking for a mellow tone with out the annoying BURRRRRR at a cruise.

I am gonna put a 3" catback to the y and 2.25" to the mufflers from ZZP.

Would putting a high flow converter on help?
How about a Chamber Flowmaster resinator or equalevant?
Magna flow mufflers or borla?

Could i use some type of sound deadner on the inside of the trunk or under the back of the car to lower the sound lever and reduce the BURRRR

Heres your problem, you picked the worst stlye mufflers for this car. Flowmasters are a chambered style and cause all the burrrrrrrrr and drone while driving, you want a NON chambered style muffler and just a glasspack for a res or some other type of resonator.

Do not go and buy the 3in exhaust from ZZP becuase you dont need it, you wont gain any power and the sound will still be crap. Just swap out your mufflers for a NON chambered style and be happy.

i had thrush turbo mufflers on the car it it still gave me the BURRRRR sound while driving.

just a very minor one at the headers where my egr connects.
