Replacing Engine, need help deciding on engine

I have a 2003 grand prix GT. Last weekend i replaced the intake gasket, upper plenum and coolant elbows. Everything went well but the problem was the guy who owned it before me put **a lot** of sealant in. WAY too much. Long story short after doing this and attempting to flush the system out the sealant managed to block something off somewhere in the system and i overheated my car. The coolant was legit boiling. Anyways engine is knocking and is fu******d. This means IM basically fu******d. But i work at a dealership so all my buddies are going to help me put an engine in. Now here come the questions. Do i get another regular 3.8? Or do i get a supercharged 3.8? But will a supercharged one fit in? or will it just eventually kill my tranny? I think i will be buying a full grand prix (GT)(P) and swapping the engine and this way i have a car for other parts. Just need to get the minor details figured out and i gotta go for it. I can still drive the car but there are no guarentees to how long she will run for. Thanks guys! Any advice is wanted!

What part of ontario?

I vote do it then have will tune it.

Keep the transmission thats in the car in there.

Better gearing than the GTP tranny.

Some connectors might be different.

So i'd suggest getting the harness with it.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who can tune around there.

So you'll probably want to swap the transmission, PCM, harness and passengers side axle all in one go.

Haha alright. I guess i will just have to see what i can get my hands on and go from there! :th_winking:
