replaced Radiator, have high idle when in gear

I replaced my radiator and the new one seems to have done the trick. I noticed on the test drive that the car was idling around 1500 rpm when moving (in neutral) and 1100 when stopped.
This seems unusually high to me. I pulled the battery out and im wondering if its just the relearn. when its still for more than 15 seconds it goes down to 900 (still seems a little high)
Is there anything i could have disconnected that would cause this?

sounds like a vac leak. see if your hvac controls still work, some cars have a vac line that runs across the rad support, maybe it broke.

I drove it a good hundred miles today, and it seemed to be back to normal, other than the thermostat acting its a**.
