I also have a 98 GTP along with the kitcar. NO mods, just stock. It does have a 02 3.8 S/C engine. The 98 engine had a knock so I replaced it.
Anyway, I had to replace the resistor in the blower plenum for the fan. All I need to know is who the engineer was that designed the dash and heating/cooling blower area and where he lives??? So I can go kick his A$$. That was the dumbest design I have seen in a long time. Locating the resistor between the blower and firewall nearly impossible to unbolt. I finally was able to replace it. Allot of sweat, blood and cussing.
