Replace the motor or not

So I was driving home yesterday and I noticed that I have a very noise lifter my car has 234,000
So I was looking around and I can get a motor with 160,000 for $459. Or should I just replace the one lifter that’s bad? $216 for the seals lifters are $14 each
on the fence on what I should do.

Or you could just get ls7 lifters they run around $115 or so for a set and replace yourself. I wouldn't go swapping the motor just because of a lifter tick.

so i pulled the top end off my motor and all the lifters on the back side of the motor are bad. so looks like I will be geeting some new lifters.

Easy enough to do, make sure to get new pushrods while you are there they are cheap and probably worn funny if not destroyed from bad lifters. then make sure to clean the lifter valley out when you put it back together.

so I got all the new liftres installed yaha for me but now that the motor has regained compreshion the lower end or pisston is nocking. I think I should have just replaced the motor

gaskets 150
lifters 120
supplys 30
____________
total 300
