Replace front sway bar bushings w/ GTP on ramps?

Can the front sway bar center bushings and caps be replaced with my GTP on ramps or are jack stands the only way? Thanks!

You probably can't do it on ramps. If you succeed, I'd send you a cape to complete your super hero look.

To get the bar out, it has to slide left or right. And with the tires on, that won't be possible. The only other way would be out the back if the subframe was lowered, but if it's on the wheels, the subframe can't be lowered.

I just want replace the two center bushings only. The bar, bushings, and end links were replaced not long ago but the Dorman bushings are squeaking and need replacement. (Hate working under jack stands and consequently I'll never be super hero cape worthy :-) Thanks,

you may be able to jack up one side at a time, remove the wheel and get to the caps for the bushings too, i just put a new sway in and its easier to get to the cap bolts if you drop the cradle some, or gear wrenches will have to do, a socket wont fit so well on the d/s rear cap, its in a real tight space.

Just put the front end up enough to get the tires off, pull the endlinks, then you can get to the bushings. It shouldn't take you that long.
