So I have 07 Grand Prix GT with Monsoon. Replacing HU, door speakers and adding a sub...everything will be amplified. I have the GMOS-04...Since I am adding aftermarket amps for sub and door speakers, how will the door chimes work?? I don't think they will. I was thinking of tapping into wiring harness after GMOS-04 and running a speak wire to center speaker for door chimes. I know the chimes go to the LF speaker. Has anyone replaced everything and kept all the door chimes??? I have looked and looked in the forum...can't find any info...Please help me.
 


I believe with that harness you will keep the door chimes. I did away with the door chimes and the center speaker when I completely gutted the monsoon system and could not be any happier.
 
I just don't think I will have door chimes...How will the door chime signal get to the speakers...I'm running rca's from HU to the amps. I just want everything to be like stock.
 
If you are replacing everything the GMOS-04 is not the harness you want to use, Use the GMOS -01 instead and run the left front speaker output of harness to the center channel speaker to retain chimes..... It works, I know, I did this in my 06GP GT w/Monsoon
