Replace both sides of seat belt after crash?

Had an earlier post regarding airbag sensors on the 2005 GP. Looks like we got that one squared away... Now need to replace both driver & passenger seat belts. Of course the parts car I was using is a 2006, and the seat belts need to be from an 04 or 05.

Question... Does anyone know if both sides of the belt (retractor and buckle) need to be replaced after lockup/air bag deployment?? When looking for used/salvage belts it seems that I am only finding the retractor side, and not the buckle side. Body guy I am working with thought both sides were needed, but he may have just been covering his basis.

I am not 100% sure. (sons car & crash). Friend of mine owns a body shop and doing the work, said we needed a new set of belts... I will ask him.
