Removing epoxy glue from paint.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get what I think is an epoxy or some type of hard glue off my doors. The badges on my Driver door are glued on with it. I tried picking at it but it is pulling off the clear in a few small spots. Not sure if there is any way to get it off without sanding and in that case I will just leave the badges on there I guess. Thanks for any advice!

Goo Gone works great for me. Apply that wax and polish. You may even clay bar too if you have that availible. Pretty easy though, Goo Gone will take care of most of it...

I used the goo gone on it and it works great for the foamy tape stuff that comes on the badges from factory, but this glue or epoxy type stuff that someone used is really hard and doesn't seem to want to come off without damaging the paint.

If it's epoxy, acetone should take it off, may take some of the wax off aswell, you may have to rebuff the spot after removal of the gue.

Won't acetone damage the paint though? I don't have a problem re-waxing it, just don't want to damage the paint.
Thanks
