Removing drivers seat in grand prix gtp with no battery

Friends car died. He cut into the harness and something or another. Point is : I want his drivers seat and there is no power. It was all the way back and I can't reach the bolts unless the seat is move on the track. Is there a way to do this with no power?
 


I carry a batt booster pack to the jy. Connect two jumper wires to the harness under the seat and raise and move to your hearts consent.
 
By the way, you can check power window locks etc this way. That way you don't buy junk at the dismantling yard to replace your junk.
