Removing 99 Grand Prix GTP Front Bumper

So, i'm new at the whole modification thing when it comes to body detailing etc. I've got alot of chipping, bubbling, and just paint peel on my front bumper and have decided to take it off.

I have gotten every screw off from under the car, under the wheel well, and under the hood. What I cannot figure out, is how to undo 1 piece, on each side of the front, there stupid little plastic things that seem to be holding the front bumper, to a piece of metal, and to the front fenders. I have to turn it about 30 degrees so that the triangle releases my bumper, but cannot figure out the best way to do it and dont want to wreck aynthing in the process. Is there a special tool i'm in need of? or am I just being a baby and gotta reef on the damn thing?

ANY help would be appreciated.

I managed to get it off. There was a hidden screw I did not see at all, until I did some further pulling and looking. It slid off like a piece of cake afterwards.

yea u were probably missing the screw that holds the bumper to the fender... if you take the fenderwell out, it is hidden up inside the fenderwell?
 
I was so totally focused on the stupid triangle thing... that I completely overlooked the screw... But, after a little thinking and looking, I saw it, and was like.. no way.... Either way, its off, and yea, all is good.

good to hear... post pics when you get it back together.. installing is just as easy as removal... just make sure you are lined up so that peice slides back into the fender sides correctly...
 
Its all back together now.

I was mostly just taking it off to see how long it would take me, and to have a real good look at what I was going to deal with in regards to repair etc. When its nicer out (I live St. Albert, Alberta), and the snow is melted, and streets are swept (in about a month), i'll tear the thing off again, and get it repainted. Then i'll throw some 3M film on it to protect it. At that point, i'll post pictures.

Reinstall was a piece of cake, just had to be careful, thats all. :D
