Removed stripe, now paint is less faded there...

I just removed a very faded stipe on my fender that was there when i got the gtp. I took it off, and now there is the paint that has been coverd for god knows how long, and now its less faded than the rest of the car. is there anyway to make it less noticeable? maybe compound the whole fender or something? thankkss

See what a claybar and wax may do for you. OR you just have ghost stripes now lol.

take some clay, polish, and some wax to it. Polish will shine up the rest of the paint to its bright color, matching the stripe. You can try it by hand. I like to use my porter cable for things like that.
