Remove square bushing "dog bones" attach to? (The one people flip)

What is the term for the square bushing the "dog bones" attach to in front, above the radiator? The bushing people rotate 90 degrees for "dog bone flipping."

Is there any way to remove it from the bracket without damage, and reinsert it? There's a ridge around the rubber that fits into a groove in the metal, to keep the bushing from falling out.

Experimenting with repairing/reinforcing with a poly sealant such as 3M Window Weld or Loctite PL S40. People use this stuff for repairing all kinds of mounts. Supposed to clean/degrease the rubber first. If I can't get the rubber out I'll take the whole bracket off and do it that way. Want to do this for different mounts on another make/model car, but the square dog bone bushings on my Grand Prix seemed like an easy first place to start, since they're up top and don't require any disassembly of suspension/drivetrain.
 


Poly squares are like $40~ new.

Just buy those because by the time you get done jacking with modding them with window weld and waiting a day or two for it to seal and dry completely...no thanks lol...my time is worth more than that so I'd just rip out the rubber and slide the poly squares in.
 
The point is not specifically to repair/upgrade my mounts. I'll be working under a different car this month or next, possibly working on some mounts. If I get stuck not being able to find a replacement for any that are worn, I might repair them with the poly sealant.

So filling the square dog bone bushings on my GP is just practice for that, because they're up top and easy to get to. Wanted to see how well it works before I try something more serious with it. I can let the GP sit a week so curing time is no problem.
 
It's a messy pain, for lack of better terminology.

Been there, done that. You can do it, just cut and tape cardboard around it to hold all the window weld in place for a day or two...or you can bake it in the oven to cure it. You can "open" up the mount a little bit with a pry bar as well, if need be.
 
OK. It's not as easy a test as I had assumed before I took it apart and noticed the ridge holding in the original rubber. I thought they would just slide out.
