Remove cupholder easy?

Grip it and rip it? Not sure it would survive but it would come out.

Removing the cupholder from the center console once the console is removed?
Remove the spring clips with a small screwdriver, and then carefully pry one side of the cupholder until it's out of it's little pivot area. Keep working it side to side until you get it popped free.
I always pull it out with it in the 'closed' position, out of the bottom of the center console piece, not through the top.
