How many programmable keys are needed to install a remote start system in order to by-pass the Pass Lock (or whatever these cars have) system in a 2002 and a 2003 Grand Prix GT?
I have only needed one programmable key in the past (Ford Expedition), but he wrote on the work order/receipt to bring in '2 or 3' keys for the '03, and only 1 key for the '02.
WTF! those things are $80+ apiece, I'm not buying any more than I actually need. LOL
He is closed for the week between Christmas and New Years, so I can't get a hold of him to clear this up. So, I thought I'd pick some brains here to get an idea what I'm in for.
The installs are scheduled for the following week. I've bought 2 remote starts from this dealer in the past, and trust his work and brand of remote starts (Prestige by Audiovox), but this key thing has me wondering.... :th_scratchhead:
