remote start problems

I bought my gtp with an after market remote starter and a couple weeks after buying the car I noticed that it no longer started with the key but only with the remote starter. Last night after pumping gas i went to start my car (with the remote starter obviously) and It didnt start. it was towed to my house and still wont start. anyone have any clue on how to remove the remote starter so that I can use my key to turn it on?
 


Well, I got some bad news for you. GPs are notoriously hard to set up with any kind of after market remote start kits. I have never even heard of someone getting one that didn’t have some kind of problem, or lost some kind of functionality after installing one. IMHO uninstall the aftermarket remote start kit, because it is probably causing a security system glitch.
 
I went through hell with my GTP last winter with my remote starter!! After walking out of the movie theater my dam remote or manual key won't start, my security alarm light won't turn off, causing the car not to turn on. That was one miserable and cold night!!:th_angry2: I disabled the remote starter!
 
ive had a compustar 2 way in mine for 5 years no prob atall I have an 04 and it uses the gm PK3 egnition module only time I had a prob with mine was when someone played with dic and turned "lock to arm on" I jus put key in drivers door to disable the stock crap and was good to go
