remote start on 2007 gxp (factory) no longer working

i have been an avid user of the remote start now ever since I have got my gxp. as of now it no longer works I have found out that the remote start quits working when the check engine light illuminated. I have ran the code stating that its an evap leak...... where in the world would I start to find out where that leak is?????

Fix the issue, clear the code, and the remote start will work again.

I cannot remember the code now. but when it comes up ut comes up for multiple things. like "minor evap leak", "major evap leak", "body"

no no switching up you need to get that code read in order to get the right diagnosis. after everything is fixed remote start is enabled again. no waya round that
