Remote start - any suggestions?

So....the title kinda sums it up haha. I want to install remote start in my '04 Grand Prix GT but I am not sure which kit I should go with. I have seen a lot of universal kits online, but universal in my mind means only one thing...lots of modification. Has anyone ever taken on the task of installing a remote start kit in their Grand Prix? Any recommendations, or suggestions for kits or install are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 


DONT do it yourself (IMHO). Trust the pros. In my area a remote start installed, w/2 fobs, does door locks & trunk release, w/1000 foot range and lifetime (as long as you own it) warranty is 350$ tops. I imagine it gets kinda' cold in WI, jumping in a warm & deiced car is awesome (and safer). All I know is that theres a LOT involved in a DIY, you gotta beat anti-theft for one............... I wouldn't do it unless you can figure out how to have a factory remote start installed. Aftermarket remote starts are nothing but trouble.
