Remote Confirmation

Hey guys I have a 1998 Grand Prix but the remote light confirmation doesn't work. Is this option not available in some grand prix? When I take out the Mall PGM fuse and put in ACC it chimes 3 times. So I'm guessing my car doesn't have the option?

Any help/confirmation would be great.
