Reduced engine power warning & traction control off

Morning Everyone!

Just like the title states, I have reduced engine power power and TC off on my 2004 GP GT (NA). This weekend, I cleaned the TB to help with the starting issue and replace the front driver side HUB. When I started it, i had problems. Throttle is none responsive. Idle is at 1000 to 1500. Unlugging the MAF sensor did nothing... Disconnecting the battery and ereasing the code did nothing.

Codes being thrown are following:
P0120- Throttle position System Performance
P0220- APP
P1516- TAC

Everything seems to be pointing to the TB... Cleaned it with a degreaser (making sure to not get anything in the sensor. Removed the butterfly plate and cleaned it. Are these TB's that sensitive to cleaning or was it just the luck of the draw? Connector to the TB looks good ( no corrosion or bent pins, harness shows no signs of damage).

Will try to get a TB from the junkyard, but I'll doubt I'll be that lucky. If that doesn't work, it's either the dealer or new from AZ (which is very expensive). Can the sensor just be replaced?

Thoughts? Corncerns?

I just read somewhere that you ARE NOT supposed to press the butterfly/ plate open... Otherwise it will mess with the calibration of the unit. This true? If this is the case, what's the fix? Re-flash of the PCM/ ECU?

I had a similar issue on my GXP, it ended up being a wire getting chaffed on a low hanging filter near pcm, tcm. Yellow and green wire I believe.
 
Hmm. I'll check it out on my car. However, looks like I'll tow it into a dealer...
 
If you removed the throttle plate then chances are you threw it out of wack. There is no reason to remove the plate just clean around it. You can move the throttle plate open and close with no issues just be careful with it.

That's what I have read. However, what is the fix for when it is out of "wack?"

I am not sure I would replace the TB personally. There is spring tension that holds the butterfly closed so I am wondering if you have the shaft 180* or 360* out. I disassembled the TB on our 06' F150 at work to clean it since it was giving a code and when I reassembled it the spring was 1 turn too tight. When I went to drive it the throttle wouldn't open and set a check engine code related to the TB not opening properly I ended up releasing spring tension 1 turn and put the cover back on and that fixed it. I didn't fully disassemble the TB on my 05' I just opened the plate and used a toothbrush to clean the back side and opened the cover over the gearing and put a little lithium grease on the gears. I have some pics of it somewhere on here. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Yeah. Mine was all cleaned up when I was done with it. O well. Dropped it off. Will see what they say.
 
Dealer stated its the TPS that has failed. They have replace the entire TB and reflash the ECU.
