Reduced engine power. Help!

I have a 2004 gtp comp g. Several months ago my car started to feel like it was losing power/missing out. It has gotten progressively worse to the point where it won't even run now. It started saying check abs system, traction control, followed by reduced engine power then the motor changes to a low " growl", becomes unresponsive at the pedal and shuts off. Last time I hooked it up to a computer it threw codes P0068 and P0101. I have replaced: pcv valve, fuel filter, spark plugs/wires, vacuum lines, ecm. Coils check out. Battery , map sensor does to. I cleaned maf and throttle body. Just changed the oil. Trans fluid is good. Cat conv looks good. I'm running out of patience and money. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 


looks like you forgot to look up your codes.....

next step would be the throttle position sensor. .P0068 - Google Search

and a maf sensor P0101 - Google Search

check your wires on the plug side for cracks or bare wire showing, if you see this, change the pig tail.

you can also un plug the maf to see if it runs better. if it runs better unplugged, your maf is bad 90% of the time. best place for a maf is the junk yard, as they cost some coin new, 40 used most of the time, if you dont pocket it on the way out the yard. wink wink.

if it does run you can drive it like that, but take it easy on it, aka no beating on it.

you should also have a maf fuse, or one that works it, check all fuses, under the hood and in the car.
 
Last time I cleaned my throttle body, I put everything back together and started the car and it was running like total crap, rough and almost stalling out, low growl, it sounded awful, whole car was shaking...

I shut it off and was like WTF DID I DO.. forgot to plug the throttle body back in cause I was rushing around trying to finish... so if you're throwing a code for throttle position sensor, your throttle plate might not be opening and letting air in, so the motor has to struggle for air to keep running which is why it cuts out and has no power. And then the MAF isnt sensing any air flow, even though when you press the pedal the pcm is thinking it should be there.. so maybe that's why it's throwing the MAF code too.

Like scotty said, run the car with the MAF unplugged, if that doesnt help try replacing the tps sensor.

Oh and edit... when I ran the car without the tb plugged in, it was showing reduced engine power on my DIC, and throwing a check engine light.
 
....your cat "looks good" huh... guess what so did mine, didn't glow or even smell bad but very clogged.. Previous owner blew up the old motor because it was so bad air barely flowed... that's exactly what my new motor was doing right before I had it gutted and the resonator removed. Now it instantly runs like it should. Just a thought
