Red led light in my front window not blinking

i have a 2000 grand prix gtp and the little red led isnt blinging the car alarm is activated the light just doesnt blink and help would be great
 


u say the alarm is activated? ... I'd say its a good chance its the LED burned...LED's are pieces of crap, they burn out all the time

Either they are wired wrong, getting to much voltage or just plain cheap.

Also the led red light has it ever worked?
Those are for the cars that have a true alarm with shock sensor from factory.
My 97 had the red light but only had keyless entry
Same with my 2nd 2k GTP
Same with my 98 GS
Same with my friends 99 GTP

So in theory if keyless entry only led does not blink, alarm yes.
 


Bringing up an old thread, but....mine only blinks when the car is unlocked and the doors are OPEN. The second I shut the door and lock it the light stops blinking...Thats basically the opposite of what it should do

mine is doing exact same thing! any fix? blinks with door open then stops when i shut the door!!
 
My 08 used to blink... until I turned it off in the computer bc my aftermarket alarm has a blue LED and didnt need two blinking.. You may look into the car settings on the computer.
