Hey, I order the a package from brake labs (Which is R1 Concepts... The box says R1 Concepts, and the invoice says "thank you for buying from R1 concepts") I received them yesterday and they look very nice! Very strong and high quality.

I should be getting them installed in the next few days. I will post some final pics of the install / final product.

Thanks for recommending these brakes, as I think im going to really like them! :th_biggrin2:

Hey wondering if you got those rotors and pads installed yet? I have the same rotors but the semi pads as you prob know. Wondering if the posi quiets are actually quiet and low on dust?

I am trying to decide if I want to switch to NAPA adaptive 1 pads like trannyman said, or if I should just switch to the posiquiets?

these are awesome, tell me how was shipping?? i need to do mine but want to on saturday...if i order tonight tues, can they get em here by friday????

yea that's not too bad on shipping, i think i live like right down the street from you so it'll be 6 days for me as well.... but I'll probably get the OE simply because of current low cash flow, still trying to decide on what pads though.

The whole setup was $189 shipped. Rotors and pads. For this quality, you cant beat it. I would go look for change under the sear cushin on my couch for extra money :D

FINALLY!!!

I am VERY satisfied with this break setup. No more pulsing and wavy breaking. Much stronger breaking without hesitation.

Most of all I would like to thank RPM_Inc for installing these brakes for me. He invited me to his shop, which is near where I live, and offered to install them for me... I cant thank him enough for his generosity. He did an outstanding job, and even finished the job a little quicker near the end so I could be on time to work! :th_sign-thanks:

^i was gonna say do some paint down in there while u did this. but u didn't!

ah well, take those rims/tires off and get some paint on them calipers!

Freebeer,

I'm glad everything worked out!! They really change the look of the car, and they seem to be of good quality. I'll be getting some for mine. I'm sorry I got you to work on time! (Or close to anyway) Of all the days customers stop in......

I was very glad to do it for you and you are totally welcome man, ANYTIME.

I'll see you soon with your brother.

Rick

I don't want it to look like a vato zone sponsored car when in a year the paints faded and chipped. If I want color, ill buy new calipers.

Looks good man, but I think you might have them facing the wrong direction. I was told a long time ago that you wanted the slots and the drill holes to dig into the pads. I could be wrong and others might want to chime in and say their piece on that topic. Here are how mine look.

This is of the left front driver side disc, you can see the slots and drill holes aiming downwards into the pad. Yours will actually angle the other way.

And this is the passanger front side disc.

Sh!t. I thought that was a problem. I dont think it will be a very difficult task to get them switched. I think ur right, but I thought it was just me...

Those pictures are um... Samples! Yes samples of.. erm.. The craftsmanship of.... um.... hmmm...

Aw hell we messed up >:|

Its all in fun though :) Car stops on a dime with em and of course because of RPM_Inc's quality install(other than the direction of groove....not a big deal if you ask me). That slotted rotor business gets kinda confusing and we were more worried about getting them on than which way the design was going. No problem, Well get em taken care of soon, and ill be sayin "In ur face solid rotors!"

Yeah!

Those aren't samples...... The camera was up side down! Lets get it back in and make the correction.:th_thumb-up:
