I have the auto dim mirror in my 97. I noticed that I have an electrical connector in front of my radiator. I am wondering if I can add a mirror and sensor to monitor temperature outside. Would like to find the parts at the junkyard but only if most of the wiring is already in the car. Anybody know if the original wiring will work or will I need to run a few new wires?

I'm thinking most of the cars came with the temp on the hvac. Maybe GP's are the oddball ones though. Also get pics of that connector and it's location.
 
Finally got some pics.

Connector in front of the radiator has 2 wires yellow and green.



Connector for mirror has 3 wires, green, brown, yellow.



Pics are fuzzy cause I of low light. I couldn't hold still.
 
Does anybody know what the connector in front of the radiator, is for?

According to my wiring diagrams a temp sensor isn't available until 2001. The lt green wire on the mirror is from the lighting circuit and the yellow is accessory power. The brown which is probably black is ground. On a mirror with a temperature display there should be a brown wire and green/black wire for the temperature sensor.
