Rear view mirror compass/other features

Hello everyone,

Can anyone shed some light on how the rear view mirror and all these other features and buttons are wired/setup on the Grands Prix?

Seems like I'm not getting any power to it. Has on star and stuff but I've never messed with it before. Didn't work when I bought it.cjw

Any ideas? Likely faults?

Onstar wouldn't work in it now anyway, I believe the system is too old for that anyway and you have to pay for that service.

There might be a fuse for it if you have no power.

Otherwise I think some have a temp in the mirror and they have a auto dimmer for at night that works when the button is pressed.
 
Check the connection at the back of the rear view mirror, mine was loose in my monte carlo and it just needed to be pushed in and everything started working again.
 
Check the sunroof fuse. Even if the car doesn't have a sunroof, it would still be wired to this circuit
