Hi Everyone,

OK, well my son took the car to school today, got home parked it in the garage about an hour later I heard a loud noise and went out to garage and found the rear pass side coil spring broke in three pcs. I see autozone has the struts w/the springs & seals for $160 pc - Any reason not to buy these? Any tips on replacing the struts? I know I need an alignment after it's done and will need to rent the spring compressor tool. I have never had a car that the spring broke on or replaced springs. I just bought this car in Dec and have already done alot of work to it. It only has 92k had no sign of trbl before it happened.

Thanks

if you get the monroe quick strut, they come built already, you just bolt it in. no need for a spring compressor. but at least replace both rears. dont do one side only.

Thanks kfish, I bought the monroe quick struts and replaced them yesterday. It was a lot easier than I thought.
