Rear quick struts



I guess I wasn't clear, the left side rear spring is different from the right side rear spring. Sorry for not being clearer.
 
What brand of quick strut did you get? I used KYB's on my brother 01 GP GT and they were the same IIRC, never really looked at the springs themselves. Wonder if you got a mixed product somehow?
 
Well, based on your profile here's what I found on RockAuto: 1999 Grand Prix SE MONROE 171662R Quick-Strut Rear Right MONROE 171662L Quick-Strut Rear Left There likely isn't an issue with the springs being different. It's the upper mounts that are the difference and are specfic to each side. Don't over analize it. As long as they look the same as the old parts you take out you're good.
