My right rear brakes are making this weird noise whenever I'm coming to a stop, All new pads and rotors were installed not even a year ago and I'm sure I need to adjust the parking brake, anybody know how to adjust the parking brake on pads on a GP 2008, is the adjustment on the calliper itself? I know how to do shoes but never done them on brake pads. Thanks

dont think you can adjust the e brake on the 04+.
id take the back wheel off and check the pads out, newer cars use more back brakes then older cars, if cheap pads were used they could be down to metal on metal. if the rotors have deep grooves in them good chance the pads are worn out.
while your there, make sure the backing plate is clear of the rotor they can get bent a little and then rub the rotor as it spins.

Of course when I replaced all my pads and rotors all around I made sure the piston is in all the way, however yesterday I decided to take another look at the rear and front and I notice this at the rear, I think I found the sound that happens whenever I go over speed bumps and a dimp in the road, it turns out that the ebrake cable was hitting the gas tank and also hitting another bar, so I ended up using dishwasher rubber hose and wrap it around bar might be the control arm. With the front as indicated I do hear this sound when im applying the brakes and come to a complete stop and then let go and apply again I hear this pop/grinding noise, I re-lubed the pads and the pins and still same issue, however I notice the outer tie rods had grease leaking out which is common when I first replaced them in May but now they were still grease around it, I was able to insert my finger in the rubber and trying to see if any-more grease comes out but it didnt so either it has no more grease left and thats the noise im hearing when I apply the brakes slowly. Here is a video let me know what you guys think

why in the world are you jamming your fingers into the dust boot there?
re grease your tie rod end, that what the nipple on the top is for, (use a grease gun) new grease will come out the boot, when you see the grease start to come out, its greased, and your done, stop greasing it.
then put the wheel back on, lugs tight, wheel jacked up still, then grab the wheel at the 3 and 9 o clock areas, push one side and pull the other, and back and fourth, if it moves the tie rod is bad. you can watch the tie rod when you do this to confirm its moving.

on the tie rod end that you fingered? its fine as long as its not ripped, when you grease it, it will puff back up.

harbor freight has guns for 10 bucks,( grease tubes are like 3 bucks) the nicer one is 15. get one with a hose on the end. they are easier to get into tight spaces, and the one with a metal tube can break if your not careful storing it or if dropped and so on.
oh canada, not sure if you got the good old HF. but a gun should be in that range, 10 to 20.

thats what you want. but 30 bucks sucks, HF sells the same one or its style for 15.
if you can find a cheaper one, most of them you can take the metal tube off and put a hose on in its place, it just threads in. but that plan only works if the hose part is cheaper when you add the metal tube gun and the price of the rubber tube up, if its less then the 30 it would be a better deal.

yeah, the tubes are universal, all the same threads on the ends, it should be. they always worked for me, done it 3 times over the years.
back in the day the hose was a option you added, now they sell them with the hose or a metal tube.
